SCC Dress Code

To avoid embarrassment, please familiarize yourself and your guests with the following dress code. Members and their guests must wear proper attire at all times.
  • Hats are to be worn with the brim facing forward.
  • Ladies may wear collarless shirts and blouses.
  • Mock and regular turtlenecks, as well as blade collars, are allowed.
  • Shirts are to be worn tucked in. However, both men and women may leave their shirts untucked if they are specifically designed to be worn in this manner.
  • Length of skirts and shorts should be consistent with current "golf attire" styles
In the Clubhouse ONLY (and absolutely not on practice areas or on the course), jeans may be worn, provided they are neither cut, torn, threadbare, frayed, patched, stained or spattered, nor drawstring waisted...even if fashioned by a designer.

We expect our members and guests to avoid the following attire on the Club premises:
  • Gentlemen wearing hats of any type on the main floor of the clubhouse at any time.
  • Sweatshirts, T-shirts, tank tops, halter tops, mesh shirts, cropped tops and exposed midriffs, bathing attire, and other dress of this type.
  • Overalls, sweatpants, cutoffs, gym and coaching shorts.
However, on occasion, a specific social event may permit certain theme attire which may include above-listed apparel which is not otherwise allowed.

SCC's staff has been instructed to follow the procedure in enforcing our dress code with all members and guests of SCC.  Please respect their judgment.
